Eclips TV approached us in 2017 with a simple ask. Can you help us to get access to the Belgium market. First we created an adjusted concept balancing between entertainment and information aimed at a 50+ target group. With this plan we approached the relevant platforms in Belgium. Given the technical capacity shortage in the market we created an additional step by looking for partnership with existing channels in the market. Which created the launch of Eclips TV in June 2017. Given the growth ambitions of Eclips TV in 2019 we guided an acquisition of Evenaar channel (Mediahuis) by Eclips TV.
